The rules of the Seven Card Stud Poker
7 Card Stud Poker: 7 player cards, no common card.
The variant of Poker 7 Card Stud substantially differs from Texas Hold'em: each player are distributed during his hand 7 cards and there are no community cards on the table.
Before the distribution of the cards takes place, all players are obliged to make an episode called "doors", of low amount, necessary to ensure that the dish is never empty.
The value of the ante is linked to the limits of the table to which you are participating and always lower in the amount of the minimum episode that can be made during the hand once the players have received the cards.
Distribution and "Bring in":
Once the phase of the compulsory episodes is over, each player receives 3 cards, two of which are covered and a discovery and therefore visible from all those present at the table.
The player who received the lowest discovery card must make another compulsory episode, whose value can be equal to the minimum limit of the table or its half: for example, on a 7 card studio table $ 10/$ 20, l 'amount of bring-in can be $ 5 or $ 10.
If multiple players show a card of the same value, it will be the seed to determine who will have bring-in, according to the order of spades, hearts, paintings, flowers (♠ ♥ ♦ ♣).
At this point the action moves to the player to the left and proceeds in the classic way until the first turn of episodes ends, that is, until all the remaining players have chimoned the highest episode (or all except one abandoned the table) null
Fourth Street, Fourth Strada:
Each game therefore receives a fourth card (Fourth Street), also discovered.
The first to speak is the one who shows the highest discovered scorenull This player can check or aim: if the point shown is not a couple, the episode must be equal to the minimum limit of the table, if instead it is a couple the episode can also be equal to the maximum limit of the table.
Let's take an example: ("cc" means covered paper) If the table limits are $ 5/$ 10 and the highest hand shown is this cc cc a ♠ K ♦ The value of the possible episode must be $ 5. If, on the other hand, the hand exposed is cc cc j ♣ j ♠ the episode can be worth $ 5 or $ 10.
Once again, the action passes to the next player clockwise, which can foll, make call or relaunch and so on until the episode turn ends.
Fifth Street, Fifth Strada:
Players receive a fifth discovered card (Fifth Street). Once again the first to speak is the one who shows the highest point.
Starting from Fifth Street, the value of the episodes and relaunches must be equal to the upper limit of the table: If the limits of the table correspond to $ 1/2, from this moment until the end of the hand episodes and relaunches must be worth $ 2.
We proceed as usual to a further round of episodes.
Sixth Street, the Sesta Strada:
At this point the players receive the sixth card, also this discovery. (It is the fourth and final discovery card). As usual, the action is on the player who shows the highest score and proceed with another turn of bets.
Seventh Street e Showdown:
At this stage one last card (Seventh Street) is distributed, this time covered, to all players.
Once again the first to speak is the player who exhibits the highest point and proceeds with the last tour of episodes.
After the episodes, proceed to the showdown, that is, to the verification of the highest point. The first player to show his cards is the one whose episode has been called, the others follow in order.
The score made consists of the best combination of 5 cards between the 7 available and the best hand is decreed according to the standard ranking of scores (from Royal Flush to high paper).
As usual, if there is a draw, the dish is divided and assigned to multiple players. The ongoing hand ends and proceeds with a new hand.
An important note on the 7 Card Stud: the complexity of the rules, but above all of strategies, in the poker Seven Card Stud makes this variant not suitable for novice players.
Our advice is to learn a simpler variant (Texas Hold'em or 5 card draw for example), before trying out in games with real money at 7 card studies.
